Implicit Bias Symposium

Community Action Council is hosting a free, virtual and community-wide
Implicit Bias Symposium on April 28th, from 5-7PM. 


This event aims to define and discuss implicit or unconscious bias and offer tools to confront, reduce and eliminate this “hidden” bias. 
Industry experts from the fields of education, economics, healthcare, housing, homelessness, and law & justice will share how biases negatively impact those they serve.


The Implicit Bias Symposium is broken into two sessions requiring two registrations. 


All guests must register for the opening session from


Dean Julian Vasquez Heilig, Ph.D.


The second “breakout” session requires each guest to
select only one of the following topics you are interested in and register for that session.
